It is recommended that you create a bootable system backup of your system
before migrating.

Die Dateien software_link_existence_check, software_file_existence_check und software_checksum_verification sollten auf Fehler überprüft werden. Weitere Dateien die durch das Pre-Migration Skript angelegt wurden, dienen zur Information über Änderungen am System, die durch den Upgrade durchgeführt werden.

Nachdem das Pre-Migration Skript gelaufen ist, hängen wir den SPOT wieder aus:

aix05 # umount /mnt
aix05 #

Hinweis: Dies ist nicht unbedingt erforderlich, da das System im nächsten Schritt ohnehin rebootet wird.
