Patch Automaton

Updates of AIX,

with safety net and second bottom.

With the patch automaton, AIX updates of the technology level or service packs can be carried out. The automaton automatically unmirrors the rootvg, creates the altinst_rootvg, removes existing fixes, carries out the AIX update, installs existing fixes and reboots the system. Only one command call is necessary for this. The rootvg is automatically mirrored again.

Migration Automaton

Migration from AIX 7.1 to 7.2,

using the nimadm method.

Our migration automaton allows the automated execution of AIX upgrades, e.g. from AIX 7.1 to 7.2 or AIX 6.1 to 7.1 (or 7.2). Using altinst_rootvg and nimadm results in a very short downtime.
