Installation and Configuration
The LPAR tool uses SSH to access the HMCs of a PowerVM environment. It can be installed on any system(s) with access to the HMCs. The LPAR tool is available for AIX, Linux x86 and MacOS.
In the PowerVM environment shown above, the LPAR tool would be installed on the admin system at the top. The admin system can access the HMCs shown over the public network.
