System administrator rights are required to install the BFF fileset.

pwrcmps.lpar.rte.1.X.X.X.aix.tar.gz – tar Datei

The tar file can be unpacked anywhere (e.g. in the home directory). No special privilege is needed.

Linux (x86):

pwrcmps-lpar-rte-1.X.X-X.x86_64.rpm.gz – RPM Paket

System administrator rights are required to install the RPM package.

pwrcmps-lpar-rte-1.X.X-X.x86_64.tar.gz – tar Datei

MacOS:

pwrcmps.lpar.rte.1.X.X.X.mac.tar.gz – tar Datei

For MacOS there is currently only one version as a tar file. This can be unpacked anywhere (e.g. in the home directory).

If you only want to test the LPAR tool once, you should download the tar version for your operating system. If you want to use the LPAR tool permanently, or if the LPAR tool is to be tested by several users, you should use the BFF version for AIX and the RPM version for Linux.
