Java SDK on AIX

IBM offers its own Java in the form of IBM Semeru Runtimes and IBM Java SDK. These versions are available for download from IBM via the Java SDK on AIX website (https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/java-sdk-aix):

You can select the desired Java version, “IBM Semeru Runtime Certified Edition downloads” or “IBM SDK, Java Technology Edition downloads”. For the newer Java versions, there is only a 64-bit version.

Java SE Version 11 and onward downloads

Clicking on “Download now” takes you to an overview page with the available versions:

The buttons at the top of the page can be used to select the exact version and operating system (Linux, Windows, macOS, AIX, z/OS). The desired version can be selected and downloaded by clicking on it.
