A virtual FC adapter has the following attributes:

$ lpar help chfc
USAGE:

 Valid attributes for profile only:
   wwpns - 2 comma-separated WWPNs 
   is_required - adapter is required for LPAR activation

Currently there are only the two attributes wwpns and is_required. Both attributes cannot be changed dynamically. A change is only possible in the profile. A change has to be made with the command “lpar chfc” (change virtual FC adapter), using the option “-p” and a profile name.
