The HMC model 7042-CR9 is the last physical HMC based on Intel. The model has no longer been offered by IBM since 2018. The last supported HMC version on 7042-CR9 is version V9R2M953, which is no longer officially supported as of April 30, 2023.

Even though this model is no longer officially supported by IBM, this model is likely still in use by many customers.
