POWER vHMC

The virtual POWER vHMC appliance can be installed in an existing PowerVM environment

To run a virtual HMC in an LPAR, it requires at least the following resources:

    • 4 virtual processors
    • 16 GB RAM
    • 2 Ethernet interfaces
    • 1 hard disk with at least 500 GB

The POWER virtual HMC image can be downloaded from IBM Entitled Systems Support.
